How to recover USB files that have been accidentally deleted or lost?

USB flash drive is a portable storage device commonly used to transfer data from one computer to other. In older versions of Windows Operating System like Windows 9x or Windows Me, a driver was needed to connect USB flash drive. But, there is no need of separate driver to connect and access data from USB drives in latest versions of Windows Operating Systems like Windows XP, Vista and 7. USB drives can be directly plugged into USB port of your computer. There are different types of USB drives available in different storage capacities ranging from 8MB to 256GB.

USB flash drives are not only used to transfer data, it can also be used to install Operating System on Netbooks and other MIDs. USB 3.0 flash drives are much faster compared to Hi-Speed USB 2.0. Data transfer rate provided by USB 3.0 flash drives is 3.2.Gbits/sec. Some USB flash drives have a mechanical write-protect switch and some have biometric security feature in order to provide additional protection to your data. Hence, accidentally deleting files from USB drives may result in loss of files as they cannot be restored from Recycle Bin

Loss of files due to file system errors: Sometimes, you may encounter different error messages like USB device attached to this computer has malfunctioned or USB device not recognized etc. File system corruption generally results in these types of errors, which makes files inaccessible from USB flash drive resulting in loss of files.
